Inside the Import/Export Center you'll have five different export/backup/restore options to choose from...
- Sync Now -- automatically synchronizes vehicle data to your Fuelly.com account. For more information on how to set up synchronization, click here.
- Full Backup -- if you're using the free version, aCar automatically backs up your data once a month. Manual backups (hourly, daily, weekly) are available only when using the Pro Edition.
- Full Restore -- restores your data and all application settings. Doing so will overwrite current data/application settings.
- Export Records -- Redirects you to the Browse Records screen. You can Search & Filter the records you wish to export or export the entire list (only available in Pro).*
- Export Statistics -- Redirects you to the Statistics screen. Click Everything in the header to adjust the time frame, then click Export in the upper right hand corner (only available in Pro).*
*Once you have selected the records or statistics you wish to export, aCar will ask you whether you'd like the data exported to local storage (internal phone storage or SD-card) or the cloud (email, Dropbox, cloud, etc.). It will also ask you whether you'd like the data exported as a csv or html file.
You can also choose to import data from 19 other vehicle/mileage applications and websites.
If the application you wish to import from is listed, tap the appropriate icon to import your records. If your application is not listed, or if you already have your records stored in a csv file, tap the Plain CSV icon.*
*Plain CSV Import provides a dynamic column-field mapping tool that allows you to import most kinds of standard csv files.
